Hello, lovelies! I am so pumped today! As you know, yesterday I completed the first workout in Tina’s Best Body Boot Camp, and it was fantastic! I really felt like I was pushing myself instead of just jumping on the treadmill and going through the motions. Today I’m feeling a little bit of that deliciously sore feeling, and I am relishing it. I’m so ready to see where this program leads me.
I have a very special treat for you all today. A few weeks ago, the nice folks at Nature Box contacted me and asked if I would be willing to review their December box on the blog. Free snacks that are healthy to boot? Sign me up! I didn’t hesitate to say yes, and when I arrived home from my trip to Lawton, my beautiful little box was sitting on my doorstep.
For those of you who don’t know, Nature Box is a fairly new company that specializes in healthy snacks. When you sign up for Nature Box, each month you’ll receive a box packed with healthy treats that you can feel great about snacking on. You can sign up on a month to month basis with no obligation. Can’t swing it one month? No problem! However, these snacks are so yummy and the subscription fee so low, I have no doubt you’ll be hooked
.
Each month’s box is slightly different so I had no idea what to expect when I tore into it in December. The first bag that caught my eye was this package of dried pears. I’m always a fan of dried fruit, and I recently discovered that I actually like pears so I was curious to try these. They did not disappoint. The pears were light and chewy and not overly sweet.
Next up was the Wild Blueberry Flax Granola. I love granola is all of its incarnations, and this is one of the best flavors I’ve tasted. It reminds me a lot of the Cherry Vanilla granola from Wild Harvest that I love so much. I will definitely be sorry when this is gone.
These masa crackers have an interesting flavor. I wasn’t crazy about them on their own, but they would be good on top of something like chili. Perhaps I’ll try them with my beans and cornbread tonight!
I am very excited about these Power Pistachio Clusters. I’ve only tried a bite, but they were really good and I think they would be perfect to take backpacking. That’s why I’ve only tried a bite-I’m saving them!
Last we have the Lemon Pucker Pistachios, and I can tell you they live up to their name. These little guys pack a little tang! But, since I’m a big fan of lemons and pistachios, I really liked the way the two flavors came together. These will be beneficial on backpacking trips as well!
Nature Box seems like a wonderful company. The snacks are healthy, nutritionist approved, and minimally processed, if at all. In addition to providing all of us with the delicious treats, they also partner with Feeding America. This means that for every box that they sell, they provide one meal for a hungry child. I think that’s a worthy cause!
Nature Box would like to make sure you have a chance to sample their product. They’re offering all you Free Range Human readers 25% off your first month’s subscription! (This only applies to the month-to-month subscription. Signing up for the 6 month subscription gets you one month for free, and the 12 month subscription will give you three months for free.) Just use the promo code PISTACHIO at checkout. If you are looking for an easy way to add some healthy snacks to your diet, this is the way to go!
Disclaimer: Nature Box provided me with a box to sample at no charge to myself. All opinions are my own!
Have you ever tried Nature Box? Fellow Boot Campers: What did you think of yesterday’s workout?

Yum! I’ve been wanting to try out NatureBox for a while now- all the snacks sound so great!
Everything I got was pretty good and I think the company is pretty fabulous!
Yum! Glad you are enjoying your workout program! I have a love/hate relationship with that sore feeling!
It really is fun! And I think I can relate to love/hate idea. Sometimes the soreness isn’t fun, but I love knowing I earned every sore muscle!
I think there is nothing better than a post workout burn
That Nature Box looks great. I am a big fan of anything pistachios!
Me too! I’ve just recently discovered how great they are!
I wish more of these boxes would let you choose a dietary preference, then I would be more likely to use them!
Your selection looks great this month though!
True. The only thing that makes me skeptical of subscriptions is the lack of choice. I hate to think I would waste something if I got a product I didn’t care for.
Jealous! I have been dying to try nature box!
I loved my box! I’m really thinking about signing up!
Oh, Nature Box–we go back.
The dried pears look yummy!
Oh, they are so good!
They look so good! I love having snacks on hand at all times so this would be perfect! I just came across your site and am loving it. I’m over at SoFitandSoGreen.blogspot.com with a similar health and fitness lifestyle…check me out!
Thank you so much! I love welcoming new readers, and I will certainly head over to your blog!
I think the Power Pistachio Clusters would be my go-to snack. I love everything pistachio – it’s one of my favorite flavors! This Nature Box is an awesome idea – I have never tried it before but it looks like a worthwhile little investment
It really is, and I agree with you about the pistachios. I’ve just recently discovered how wonderful they are, and they’ve quickly become my favorite nut!
Try pistachio gelato or ice cream – you’ll end up craving it
SO DELICIOUS!
I used to hear about pistachio ice cream and think it sounded so weird, but I definitely feel like I would think differentl now. I will try it ASAP!
These look amazing. Thanks for the introduction to Nature Box
Your welcome! The snacks were so good. Especially that granola. It’s gone now, and I am sad
