Happy Saturday, friends! Today is not just any Saturday. I have something very important to share with you all today. On this day, exactly 25 years ago, my best friend was born.
That’s right! Today is my baby sister’s birthday. My mom, step-dad, and I are out celebrating with her and my brother-in-law, but I thought it would be fun to share some of my sister with all of you for this very special day!
I’m sure you can tell how much I love her, and how important she’s always been to me. We’ve been a team since the moment she was born, and I can’t imagine life without her. Happy Birthday, Caite!

My sisters and I are really close. They’re fraternal twins, and since they’re only three years younger than me, the age gap isn’t a big deal. I have very fond memories of us riding bikes, playing dress-up, and playing with Barbies on Saturday and Sunday mornings back in the day. We definitely have our fair share of disagreements, but three is a great number–two arguers and one peacemaker which is usually me, ha! Even though they used to really get on my nerves, especially during elementary and middle school, I’m so thankful for them.
She’s very grateful for the birthday wishes! Oh cool to have twin sisters! I think it’s great that you’re so close to both of them. I think having a sister is one of the best things. I wouldn’t know what to do with brothers!
Caite — thank you for being a lovely sister. I’ve heard so much about just how much you make Nat smile, and it’s SOOO heartwarming. Honestly, hearing about your sisterly love has made me want a sister — something that I’ve never wished for before in my life. I hope the two of you are elbow deep in batter, cheeks burning from smiles and tummies sore from laughter!!!

You are too sweet, my friend! We had a great day of celebrating her birthday, and today we’re going to celebrate Thanksgiving! It’s been a wonderful weekend. Thanks so much for the compliment! I think my mother is the prettiest lady I know, and I never think I look like her!
